Hello Friends! My name is gabby, and I am going on a missions trip with world race gap year! For those of you unfamiliar with what that is, let me tell you! Gap year is a program designed for college age kids to go and serve in the world for 9 months! There are different routes you can choose, and each route has 3 countries, that you work in for 3 months each! The Route I decided to go with was route 1!! Guatemala, Ecuador & Nepal!!

*Guatemala – Community Outreach & Development,, Childrens & Sports Ministries !!

*Ecuador – Youth & Feeding Programs,, Teaching English,, Evangelism !!

*Nepal – Evangelism & Kids ministry !!

I am beyond excited for this journey, and I feel so called to this mission. This past summer, I got to be a part of something called Work Crew with Young Life, where high school kids go and serve at Young Life camps for a month in the summer, and let me tell you, it totally changed my heart!! Work Crew opened my eyes to how much I am called to servitude by the Lord. This summer was the best of my life, and since then, I knew that I wanted to find my next kingdom mission!!

I was so anxious at the beginning of this year, because I knew that I didn’t feel right going to college right after I graduated. Something in me was so against it, and I struggled with it so much because I wanted to fit in and didn’t want people to think less of me for not going straight into college. But at the same time, I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do instead of college. This lead to many restless nights crying out to the Lord for what I was supposed to do. Search after search, and I could not find any program that had what I was looking for. Then one day, a girl that I follow on Instagram posted about her acceptance into the race, and after looking into it, I knew that this was what I was supposed to do. There is something so sweet about God’s timing. There I was, believing that I would find my path on my own, yet God knew exactly what He had planned for me, and what He has in store for me.

In this new season, I am so excited to see what God’s plan is for me, and I feel so beyond blessed to be able to embark on this journey. I am still nervous and anxious, but also am so ready!! I am asking for your support and first and foremost prayers would mean the world to me!! And if you feel so inclined and are able, financial donations would also be greatly appreciated and allow me to chase after God!! Thanks for reading!!
